Welcome to the South Haven Community Safety Taskforce Website.  This organization is a fairly new group in the area.  The mission is to prevent the loss of life or injury through community awareness programs and activities.  The safety taskforce will achieve it's mission by involving, educating, and assisting the community in the field of public safety in order to improve the quality of life for all that live and visit South Haven.

On February 8, 2007

On March 8, 2007 the Safety Taskforce had it's second meeting of 2007.  The topic of discussion was sidewalks in the community.  County Councilman Bucko spoke about sidewalks in the area and how to go about obtaining the money to get it done.  

Ron Ranta of the South Haven Boys & Girls Club passed around a petition at the meeting requesting that sidewalks be put in between the Boys & Girls Club and Midway Dr.  Mr. Ranta stated that he had well over 200 signatures of concerned parents.
