I would like to take a moment and thank everyone at South Haven for posting the tragedy in Charleston. I am a former member of Union Fire and Boone Grove Fire. I moved to Charleston a year ago and I am currently on North Charleston Fire. I knew one of the men that was killed. To know that my brothers and sisters back home have taken the time to recognize these 9 heroes truly shows we are a brotherhood. My thoughts are constantly with my brothers and sisters back home in Porter County. Be safe and continue to do what those that have died in the line of duty would want us to do. May we never forget the Charleston 9.
