NEW STATION
In January of 2007, the firefighters of South Haven Fire Department moved into our new station that was build just behind the old station and incorporated the 1982 section of the old station. This station is roughly the same size as the old station but, but has been laid out better to suit the needs of a growing fire department. The old engine bay was incorporated into the New Station and was turned into a large training room. This room is used for department trainings, community meeting such as Little League, South Haven Lyons Club, The Legion Post 502, and the Community Safety Taskforce. Any community organization wishing to use this room for meetings can email Firefighter J. Collette for scheduling. We also have one office in the training room which is for the Captains and Lieutenants. We also have the department trustee's closet and the power room located in the training room. As you leave the training room, you will see a long hallway. As you go down the hallway you will see the day room, the Deputy/Asst Chief Operation Office, the Fire Chief's Office, the Asst. Chief of EMS Office, the On-Call bunkroom, and the two duty crew bunkrooms. You will come to the end of the hallway and enter the apparatus bay. Please check out the pictures below of the New Station.
